Despite what I’ve said above about marketing, I have learned that my main business comes from word of mouth and positive recommendations. I’m quite a modest person and find it hard to sell myself, but have learned that it’s important to share positive reviews to help grow business. 9 - WHAT KIND OF BUSINESS CONTACT WOULD HELP YOUR BUSINESS? Anybody who has a contact in senior NHS management locally as I would love to be able to offer Reiki to patients and staff. 10 - CAN YOU RECOMMEND ANY MOTIVATIONAL BOOKS THAT HAVE HELPED YOU? As a spiritual person, one of my favourite books is Raise your Vibration by Kyle Gray. It works on the premise that happiness and a positive attitude reaps the best rewards. 11 - WHAT WOULD BE YOUR NO1 WISH IF YOU HAD A GENIE? – A business partner –I enjoy working by myself but would love to work with a fellow holistic therapist (and maybe they could help me carry my treatment couch which I find a bit heavy at times!) 12 - WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR BEST CAP BUSINESS CLUBS EXPERIENCE TO DATE? – I’m a relative newbie having only been to two meetings as I write this. It’s a friendly, welcoming group and there is a range of expertise in the room. I’m really happy to have had 1:1s with two of the group members already and looking forward to more. |
