I worked with Alison to develop the spreadsheet I use for my business accounts and analysis. I’ve always made good use of Excel in my work so felt I knew quite a bit about it, but Alison had so much really good advice about how to make the sheet work more efficiently and effectively, easier to maintain and update, and provide better management information for me than I had managed on my own. She also made the session really good fun which is not necessarily a word you associate with Excel! Accounting packages cost money and don’t do exactly what you want them to do, but with Alison’s help my spreadsheet does everything they can do and more, in a way that’s better for me.
