1) Do you like spending quality time with other positive people? 2) Do you like helping other people? 3) Do you like learning from other people?
If your answer is yes to all 3 questions then keep reading, this may be of interest to you. CAP Business Clubs has been successfully helping business owners to Collaborate and Prosper for the past 8 years. Our groups are very vibrant and meet once a week per group. When the Covid19 virus hit we were forced to go online using the Zoom platform. This turned out to be a great success, so much so it has been suggested to me to start a CAP Online Club, which will remain online permanently. The Beauty of an online CAP Business Club is that geography does not play a part, so anyone in the UK can join.
So, you might be curious about the following? 1: How much does it cost, and can I try it for free? 2: Why would it be beneficial to me? 3: Who and what type of businesses typically joins CAP? 4: What happens at CAP meetings? 5: When does CAP Online meetings intend to start and what day and time?
1: How much does it cost, and can I try it out for free?
Yes, you can trial CAP Online meetings for free. In fact, you can have your first 2 weeks for free, after which we can discuss membership should you wish. There is no obligation. There is no contract either, because we want members to attend because they want to, not because they are tied in. Cost is just £25 per 4 weeks. We want it to be affordable for everyone, even if you are just starting up and have a small marketing budget. It is that simple. You are very welcome to attend one of our existing CAP clubs as they are all currently online (Monday and Thursday mornings, 8am start)...Just let me know and I will send you the invite link.
2: Why would it be beneficial for me?
We are looking for people who completely understand the value of having a giving nature. People who share, teach, and generally have a positive outlook. Remember the 1st question at the beginning - Do you like spending quality time with other positive people? Positive people will encourage you when you are down (we all have those days). They will advise you on aspects of your business that you are less competent with (we all have those too). They will teach you something new and they will be fun to be around. I could go on, but to finish up this section, another important aspect is - you will also have the opportunity to do those things for others and that makes you feel good!!
3: Who and what type of business owners typically join CAP?
Generally, CAP is geared up to serve micro and small business owners. We currently have, accountants, IFA’s, mortgage advisors, business coaches, printers, hypnotherapists, PT instructors, Greeting card makers, dog walkers and many more. (see https://www.capbusinessclubs.co.uk/members.html) Basically, the type of business is pretty much irrelevant, it is the people behind the business that make CAP what it is.
4: What happens at CAP meetings?
In a nutshell, our meetings consist of up to 25 businesses who value learning, sharing, and helping each other. Lead generation to gain more business is simply part and parcel of the offerings at CAP, but they are not the primary reason for our existence. Therefore, it is important we attract the right people who understand the concept of what we are achieving.
By the way, in case you are wondering, CAP stands for 'Collaborate And Prosper'…. Enough said. A typical meeting would consist of ….A brief welcome and mission statement, followed by an around the room intro of who you are, what you do and perhaps a tip or some news from your business sector that might be worth mentioning. This is followed by a 20-minute presentation from a member, or sometimes a brainstorming session for a member with a challenge …or on a subject which might be useful to other members. It is always something purposeful that will add value to your business., then we go back around the room with leads and testimonials and AOB. It's the camaraderie and support for each other that makes CAP meetings special.
5: When does CAP Online meetings intend to start and what day and time?
We are currently looking at Wednesday mornings from 8am to 9am with a start date of the middle of July 2020, probably the 22nd. However, this is not set in stone.
We strongly encourage holding one2one’s with other members (which by the way are an excellent way to find out how you can help each other more),
